South Africa vs Netherlands Live Score, World Cup 2023: NED go six down as Rabada, Ngidi and Jansen rattle batting order
In the World Cup 2023 showdown between South Africa and the Netherlands, the Dutch side faced a significant setback, losing six wickets. Rabada, Ngidi, and Jansen from the South African team displayed exceptional bowling prowess, causing turmoil in the Dutch batting lineup.

The Netherlands was bowled out for a total of 201 runs in 44.2 overs during their Super 12 match against South Africa, which took place at the Adelaide Oval on a Tuesday. Their pursuit of 266 runs for victory seemed challenging from the outset, as wickets tumbled at regular intervals, hindering their progress.

Kagiso Rabada emerged as the standout performer among the South African bowlers, claiming three crucial wickets, while Lungi Ngidi and Marco Jansen contributed by taking two wickets each.

The Netherlands began their innings on a relatively positive note, with openers Max O'Dowd and Vikramjit Singh amassing 53 runs for the first wicket. However, their optimism was short-lived when Rabada made a breakthrough in the 16th over, dismissing O'Dowd, who had scored 30 runs.

Shortly thereafter, Singh suffered the same fate in the following over, falling to Ngidi after making 28 runs.

The Netherlands experienced a rapid succession of losses, leaving them at 102/4. Colin Ackermann was caught behind for 12 runs off Jansen, while Tom Cooper was adjudged leg before wicket (lbw) by Ngidi after contributing only 1 run.

Bas de Leede was the next to depart, caught behind off Rabada after scoring 15 runs.

With Ngidi's dismissal of Scott Edwards, caught at mid-on for 24, the Netherlands found themselves at 145/6.

In an attempt to revive their chances, Teun de Zoete and Logan van Beek formed a partnership of 56 runs for the seventh wicket. Nevertheless, de Zoete's promising innings came to an end when he was caught behind off Rabada after accumulating 41 runs.

Van Beek followed suit in the subsequent over, caught behind off Ngidi after making 23 runs.

Ultimately, the Netherlands was bowled out for a total of 201 runs in the 45th over, with Jansen claiming the last wicket.

South Africa is now poised to chase the 202-run target to secure victory and secure a spot in the World Cup semi-finals.
